The right to participate is granted to anyone who feels capable of completing the designated course.
Participants under 18 may compete with the presence of a parent or coach and a signed consent form.
Licenses are not required.
Aero bars are not allowed.
Electric bicycles are prohibited.

🏆 AWARDS

Prizes are provided for the first three places in each category, as well as trophies and financial prizes for the first three places in the overall ranking.

Prizes for the sprint (Gornja Rijeka – 63 km) and mountain Strava segment (Šopron – Kalnik 79–81.3 km) in the Gran Fondo Križevci race for the fastest woman and fastest man.

All finishers will receive a finisher medal.
A feed zone and lunch after the race are provided.

Competitors may choose T-shirt size and choose between a meat or vegetarian meal.

📏 COURSE LENGTH

Gran Fondo – 105 km and 1157 m elevation
Medio Fondo – 73 km and 784 m elevation

⚠️ NOTES

All who fall behind the leading group will ride at their own responsibility.
Please observe all traffic regulations in force in the Republic of Croatia.
The route is subject to minor changes.

The time limit to finish the race is 4:30 hours.
The time limit for Gran Fondo at the GF/MF split is 1:45 hours.

After the “sweeper” passes, the route becomes unsecured.

Sprint winners are the woman and man who first pass the sprint point.

Mountain segment winners are the woman and man who complete the GRAN FONDO KRIŽEVCI segment at 79.9–81.3 km the fastest.
Competitors must record and publish the race on the Strava app no later than 1 hour after the winner enters the finish.

Participants may refill bottles with isotonic drinks and water and take energy bars and fruit.

It is strictly forbidden to discard waste along the race route except in feed zones.

🏅 Awards ceremony

The awards ceremony will take place at 14:00 at J. J. Strossmayer Square.

Sprint winners are awarded at the finish.
Mountain segment winners are determined by reviewing the segment on the Strava app 1 hour after the winner finishes.

🚴 Bicycles and mandatory equipment

The race is intended for road bicycles.
The bicycle must be technically correct.
Electric or time trial bicycles are NOT allowed.
ALL participants must wear a protective helmet.
Clothing appropriate to weather conditions.
Water bottle.
Basic repair kit.

📌 GENERAL CONDITIONS

• a participant is one who registers, pays, and signs the start list
• ID document mandatory
• participation at own responsibility
• compliance with traffic regulations (semi-open road)
• mandatory compliance with instructions of organizer, marshals, and police
• riding in the slipstream of vehicles is prohibited
• transport to the finish is provided
• the race is held in all weather conditions
• official end at 15:00
• mandatory return of race number
