• Saturday, 20 September 2025 at 16:30 – “Step by Step Through Darkness and Silence” – First race for deafblind people in the world (500 m)

Start & Finish for all races: Kapucinski Square, Varaždin

COURSES

• Half Marathon: Entirely on the streets of Varaždin. The first 8 km and final 3 km run through the city center.

• Citizens' Race: Entire course through the city center, start & finish at Kapucinski Square.

• Surface: Asphalt roads.

• Traffic will be completely closed and regulated by marshals and police.

• Aid Stations (per IAAF & AIMS rules at less than 5 km distance): at 4.8 km, 9 km, 13 km, 18 km, and at the finish line.

• GOOGLE MAPS course

TIME LIMITS

• Citizens' Race: No limit.

• Half Marathon: 2h 45min. Participants must reach 19 km within 2h 20min or will be stopped by the organizer for safety purposes.

BIB NUMBER PICK-UP

Location: Kapucinski Square

• Saturday, 20 Sept: 15:00 – 19:00

• Sunday, 21 Sept: 6:30 – 8:15 (only for those who cannot pick up on Saturday)
  Bib can be picked up by another person with a copy of your ID.

FACILITIES

• Cloakroom: Available in the organizer's tent, access via bib number.

• Parking: Free in surrounding streets on 21 Sept. Underground garage at Kapucinski Square: €0.60/h.

REGISTRATION & ENTRY FEES

Half Marathon & Citizens' Race

• €25 – 20 Feb to 31 Mar 2025

• €30 – 1 Apr to 31 Jul 2025

• €35 – 1 Aug to 21 Sept 2025

Entry includes: bib number, digital timing, t-shirt, meal, race bag, refreshments during/after the race, prizes for top finishers.

• Full race package guaranteed with payment by 10 Sept 2025

• Changes (name/race category): Free until 14 Sept 2025 via email (trkackiklubmarathon95@gmail.com)

• Withdrawal insurance: €5. Refund available if withdrawal is declared by 10 Sept 2025 (only if insurance is paid). Transfer of registration payment to other races organized by Marathon95 is not possible.

• Payment deadline: 17 Sept 2025. Late registrations possible on-site:

  • Saturday (15:00–18:00)

  • Sunday (7:00–8:00)

Iso Sport Children’s Races

• Start & Finish: Saturday, 20 Sept at 17:30 – Kapucinski Square

Categories:

• 200 m – up to 7 years

• 500 m – ages 8–11

• 1000 m – ages 12–15

Entry Fee: €5 (20 Feb – 20 Sept 2025)
Includes: bib, digital timing, t-shirt, participant medal, refreshments (cookies, juice), prizes for fastest kids.
Important: Children must run the entire race on their own. No companions allowed on the course.

Online registration required.
Bib pick-up: Saturday, 16:00–17:00 at Kapucinski Square. Please avoid last-minute pick-ups, there will be a lot of kids participating.

Course: From Kapucinski Square northward via Stanko Vraz Street, with a turnaround halfway.

Prizes: Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place (boys & girls by age group)

“Step by Step Through Darkness and Silence” Deafblind Race
