2. RACE SCHEDULE AND ROUTE INFORMATION

The start and finish for all races are at Poljički Square, Omiš.

Half Marathon

Start: Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM
Route:

• Starting at Poljički Square (50 m upstream from the bridge on the left bank of the Cetina River).

• Follows a flat route upstream through the Cetina River canyon to the 5.274 km mark, then turns back to the starting/finishing point (10.548 km).

• The route repeats similarly for the next 5.274 km (15.817 km total), then turns back downstream to the finish line.

The route is certified by the "Association of International Marathons and Distance Races" (AIMS).

10 KM Race

Start: Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM
Route:

• Starting at Poljički Square (50 m upstream from the bridge on the left bank of the Cetina River).

• Flat route upstream to the 5 km mark, then turns back to the finish line.

5 KM Recreational Race

Start: Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM
Route:

• Starting at Poljički Square (50 m upstream from the bridge on the left bank of the Cetina River).

• Flat route upstream to the 2.5 km mark, then turns back to the finish line.

3. CATEGORIES AND AGE REQUIREMENTS

Half Marathon

• Minimum age: 18 years.

• Categories:

  • Women: U23, S, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70+

  • Men: U23, S, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70+

10 KM Race (Omiška 10k)

• Minimum age: 18 years.

• Categories:

  • Women

  • Men

5 KM Recreational Race

• Participants under 18 must provide a signed parental/guardian consent form.

• Participants under 12 must also submit a medical certificate.

6. RESTRICTIONS

• TIME LIMIT
The half marathon race has a time limit of 2:30 hours.

7. AWARD CEREMONY AND PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

The award ceremony will take place at 13:00 on Poljički Square.

8. SAFETY

During the races, the course will be closed to all traffic and secured by volunteers, security personnel, and police officers (MUP).
An ambulance will be stationed at the start/finish area, and a vehicle will be available on the course for transporting participants who withdraw or require medical assistance.

9. RACE KITS

Race kits vary for each event. A full race kit is guaranteed for all participants who register and pay the entry fee by May 7, 2024.

10. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The organizer reserves the right to change certain details of the event. Any changes will be announced on: https://hr-hr.facebook.com/omiskipolumaraton/.
The organizer will send participants an email with key information (e.g., schedule, race kit pickup, free parking) no later than the race day.

Race numbers must be worn on the chest and remain visible throughout the race. Participants must have their race number and chip during the race to have their results recorded.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

By registering and participating, all participants accept the following terms:

• Participants confirm they participate at their own risk.

• The organizer is not liable for any damages arising from participation in the event, whether direct or indirect, resulting from the participant's own negligence, the negligence of other participants, or third parties, before, during, or after the race.

• Participants are responsible for any damages caused to third parties through their own negligence or fault.

• Participants must comply with the officially announced rules, safety instructions, and conditions issued by the organizer, as well as instructions from judges, marshals, and other officials.

• Participants waive their right to seek compensation for damages incurred during the event through legal proceedings.

CONSENT FOR DATA AND PHOTO USAGE

All personal data submitted during registration will be used solely for the purpose of organizing and conducting the "Omiš Half Marathon" in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and the Croatian Law on GDPR Implementation (NN 42/2018). Appropriate technical and organizational measures will be applied to protect personal data against unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, loss, or destruction. Data will not be shared with third parties and will be deleted after the event.

By registering, participants agree that the organizer may use photos taken during, before, and after the race for internal purposes and event promotion.
