2. RACE SCHEDULE AND COURSE LENGTHS

The start and finish lines are at Poljički Square in Omiš.

HALF MARATHON Start: Saturday, 19.10.2024 at 10:00 AM Poljički Square (50 meters upstream from the bridge on the left bank of the Cetina River) – through the canyon of the Cetina River along a flat course up to 5.274 km – turn and return to the starting (finish) point at 10.548 km – turn – repeat to the turn point at 15.817 km (5.274 km) – turn – return downstream to the finish (start point). The half marathon course has a valid certificate from the "Association of International Marathons and Distance Races" (AIMS).

RECREATIONAL RACE (6 KM) Start: Saturday, 19.10.2024 at 10:00 AM Poljički Square (50 meters upstream from the bridge on the left bank of the Cetina River) – through the canyon of the Cetina River along a flat course up to 3 km – turn and return to the finish (start point).

3. CATEGORIES AND MINIMUM AGE FOR PARTICIPATION

HALF MARATHON The minimum age for participation in the half marathon is 18 years. Persons under 18 are not allowed to participate in the half marathon. CATEGORIES:

• Women: WU23, WS, W35, W40, W45, W50, W55, W60, W65, W70+

• Men: MU23, MS, M35, M40, M45, M50, M55, M60, M65, M70+ RECREATIONAL RACE (6 KM) All minor participants must have a signed parental/guardian consent, and those under 12 years old must also have a sports medicine doctor's certificate. These documents must be submitted during race registration.

4. PRIZES, BONUSES, TROPHIES, MEDALS, AND SPONSOR GIFTS

HALF MARATHON CASH PRIZES The organizer provides cash prizes for the half marathon results. Cash prizes are awarded to the overall winners as follows:

• Women/Men Overall

  • 1st place: €250.00

  • 2nd place: €150.00

  • 3rd place: €100.00

  • 4th place: €70.00

  • 5th place: €50.00 All cash prize winners will receive notification with the details they need to send to omishalf@gmail.com to receive their prizes. BONUS

    Course Record Bonus is paid for achieving a course record:

• Women: < 1:19:47, €100.00

• Men: < 1:12:33, €100.00

  BONUS - Best Omiš Residents

• Women/Men, €50.00 The listed amounts of cash prizes and bonuses are net.

5. REGISTRATION AND ENTRY FEES

Registrations and payments are possible until 18.10.2024 at 23:59. Registrations are only possible via www.utrka.com

• Half Marathon – Early registration - €25 (for registrations and payments made from 7.06.2024 to 15.07.2024)

• Half Marathon – Regular registration - €30 (for registrations and payments made from 16.07.2024 to 09.09.2024)

• Half Marathon – Late registration - €38 (for registrations and payments made from 10.09.2024 to 07.10.2024)

• Half Marathon – Last minute registration (only race number) - €45 (for registrations and payments made from 08.10.2024 to 18.10.2024) - no changes to runner information allowed

• 6 km Race – Early registration - €13 (for registrations and payments made from 7.06.2024 to 15.07.2024)

• 6 km Race – Regular registration - €18 (for registrations and payments made from 16.07.2024 to 09.09.2024)

• 6 km Race – Late registration - €25 (for registrations and payments made from 10.09.2024 to 07.10.2024)

• 6 km Race – Last minute registration (only race number) - €30 (for registrations and payments made from 08.10.2024 to 18.10.2024) - no changes to runner information allowed

PARTICIPANTS WITH FREE ENTRIES AND PROVIDED ACCOMMODATION HALF MARATHON Free entries The organizer provides free entries for: last year’s competitors who placed in the top three overall Women/Men in the half marathon (6 entries). Free entries and accommodation Additionally, the organizer provides 3 packages including entry and accommodation (1 night for 2 people) for runners who meet the qualifying time requirement. Runners interested in free entry and accommodation who meet the condition should submit a request with proof of the condition met by 14.07.2024 to omishalf@gmail.com. After this date, the organizer may send invitations to participate under the stated conditions up to the number of available spots (3).

Qualifying times for free entry and accommodation:

• Women: < 1:25

• Men: < 1:18 Packages are filled on a first-come, first-served basis (first 3 to meet the condition).

  GROUP REGISTRATION DISCOUNT Group registration applies to registering 10 or more group members participating in the half marathon or recreational 6 km race. Group registration grants a 20% discount on the total entry fee amount for the group at the time of payment. This discount is granted only with prior notice to the organizer at omishalf@gmail.com with confirmation of payment, names, and surnames of the participants, and the indication of the race each participant is competing in.

CHANGES IN REGISTRATIONS, REFUNDS, AND TRANSFERS Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to future races. Until 07.10.2024, it is possible to transfer the entry fee to another registered participant with mandatory notification to the organizer via email omishalf@gmail.com. After 07.10.2024, it is not possible to transfer the paid entry fee to another person. Until 07.10.2023, it is possible to change the race without a fee and refund of the entry fee difference. Changes to the registration can be made via www.utrka.com or by contacting the organizer at omishalf@gmail.com. If the registration is transferred from the recreational race to the half marathon, the participant must send the organizer a confirmation of the difference in the entry fee payment so the registrations can be correctly recorded.

6. RESTRICTIONS

TIME LIMIT The half marathon race duration is limited to 2:30 hours.

7. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT AND AWARD CEREMONY

The winner announcement is at 1:00 PM at Poljički Square.

8. SAFETY

The race course is closed to all traffic during the races and secured by volunteers, security guards, and police officers. An ambulance is present at the start/finish line, and a vehicle is available on the race course for any runner who withdraws or needs urgent help.

9. RACE PACKS

Race packs vary for all races. A full race pack is guaranteed for all competitors who register and pay the entry fee by 07.10.2024. HALF MARATHON The half marathon race pack includes:
