PRIZES
Prizes are awarded for the top three places in each category, as well as trophies and cash prizes for the top three overall finishers.

Special Segment Prizes:

• Sprint Segment (Sv. Petar Orehovec – 34 km) – for the fastest woman and fastest man.

• Mountain Segment (Kamešnica - Kalnik, 20 km) – for the fastest woman and fastest man at the Gran Fondo Križevci race.

All finishers will receive a finisher’s medal. A feed zone and post-race lunch are provided.

Participants can choose their T-shirt size and select between a meat or vegetarian meal.

Participation Requirements

✅ Open to all who feel capable of completing the designated course.
✅ Participants under 18 can compete with a parent or coach present and a signed consent form.
✅ No racing license required.
🚫 Aero bars are not allowed.
🚫 E-bikes are prohibited.

Group registration: 5+1 (register 5, get 1 free)
Race kits are guaranteed for all participants registered by May 25, 2025.
Registration on race day is possible, but without a race kit (until race numbers run out).

Race Description

⏰ 10:00 AM – Race start at Trg J.J. Strossmayera

🚴 Neutralized start (police escort at the front and back) for the first 7 km
🏁 7 km – Official race start at the exit of Križevački Ivanec

⛰ Climbing segment on STRAVA (Kamešnica - Kalnik ~20 km)
🏆 Sprint finish by Robin (Sv. Petar Orehovec ~34 km)
🔄 ~70 km – Course splits into Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo at a roundabout
🏁 73 km / 103 km – Race finish at Trg J.J. Strossmayera

IMPORTANT NOTICE

• Riders falling behind the lead group will continue at their own risk and must obey all traffic laws in Croatia.

• The course is subject to minor changes.

• Time limit: 4:30 hours. To be included in the official results, the race must be completed within this time.

• Gran Fondo time limit at the split point (Gran Fondo/Medio Fondo): 3:00 hours. After this, all remaining riders will be redirected to Medio Fondo.

• Once the sweep vehicle passes, the route will no longer be secured (no marshals or police). Riders will continue at their own risk.

• Sprint winners (fastest male and female) will be determined at the sprint point.

• Climbing winners (fastest male and female on the 20 km Gran Fondo climb) must record and upload their ride to Strava within 1 hour after the race finishes.

🥤 Riders can refill bottles with isotonic drinks and water, and grab energy bars and fruit.

Bikes & Required Equipment

🚴 The race is for road bikes only.

🪖 Helmets are mandatory – failure to wear one results in disqualification.
👕 Weather-appropriate clothing required.
🚰 Water bottle and basic repair kit recommended.
⚠️ Unsafe or non-compliant bikes may result in disqualification.

General Rules & Conditions

✅ Participation: Every registered rider who pays the entry fee, signs the start list, and wears a visible race number is considered a participant.
✅ Personal ID: Every participant must carry personal identification.

✅ By signing up, participants accept all event rules.
✅ Traffic regulations: The race takes place on partially open roads, and all participants must follow traffic laws.
✅ Following event staff: Riders must obey instructions from organizers, marshals, race officials, and police.
✅ Liability: The organizer is not responsible for injuries, damages, or accidents caused by participants.
✅ Helmets are mandatory at all times.
✅ Drafting behind vehicles or non-registered riders is forbidden.
✅ Support vehicle available for riders unable to finish.
✅ Race security will be provided by organizers, police, and medical staff.
✅ The race will take place in all weather conditions.
✅ Official race end time: 3:00 PM.
✅ Race numbers must be returned after the event.
